About the Book
It’s a pleasure for some readers to discover historical fiction. While searching for his family‘s fabled Renaissaance gardens and estate in Spain, our narrator, Anonios, uncovers some unexpected roles among his own forbears during the inquisition. An international correspondent in today’s world, he roams the continents after the tragic demise of his family, sharing each new destination with a different lover and moving on when forced by circumstances. History and current events are both part fiction, he finds, and both hold many surprises. In old age, he returns to America, where he finds a long-lost love still waiting.
