An Older Eye “Remembering, Imagining . . .” is a poem written by Martha Horton that may be one or the other or possibly both. As she notes in the title poem, “An older eye sees with alteration, the half-remembered youth, the near-forgotten yesterday . . . The older eye looks inward and each day sees more . . .” The poetic visions Horton’s eye reveals in this collection are romantic, wry, whimsical, and always accessible.
