About the Author
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Anissa D. Moore, a native of Flatbush, Brooklyn, is an educator, social activist, playwright and poet. Ms. Moore’s creative works include the collaboration with Prof. Marcia McNair: Sistas on Fire! a drama newsical regarding the African-American woman experience. Anissa is a full-time member of the Communications Faculty and holds the rank of Full Professor at Nassau Community College, State University of New York. She currently resides in Long Beach, New York.
