An Ever-Present God

Never Alone How is it possible to feel alone, even when we may be surrounded by people? What is the best way to cope with loneliness? Sometimes, we feel left out of the loop. Sometimes, we may even feel like nobody is concerned about us. When we have these feelings on loneliness, self-loathing, and just feel like we do not matter, we should put our minds, our hearts and our focus on Jesus. Go down memory lane—think about all the times God allowed us happiness, blessings and pure joy. Think about the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Take a moment to think about it. We can even take the time to read and understand it in God’s word. God allowed Jesus to come here on earth to live and die for our sins. He gave HIS ONLY begotten son so that we can live on earth today. The sacrificial lamb that is Jesus Christ is more than enough proof that we matter to God. It is proof that we have never been alone and will never be alone. God is always with us! The resurrection of Jesus is an example of God’s continuous love and understanding of what we need while we are here on earth. Be reminded that we are never alone. We are God’s children, children that are nurtured, valued and loved with the love that always wins! Reflect on This: Hebrews 13:5-6 (NIV) 5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” 6 So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
