About the Author

Ceretha Lawson is an African American author born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. In 2011, she relocated to Milwaukee where she continued pursuing her degree in early childhood development while working at a daycare. Ms. Lawson loves creating memories with her students through arts and crafts, painting, and reading! While reading to her students, she began to think of her own ideas for children’s stories! My Favorite Night of the Year is Ceretha’s first published work. Hope you enjoy!
