Amy Pollard was born of a surrogate mother (Veronica George) who answered an ad of a sterile couple who wanted children. Amy doesn't know that she is born as a test-tube prototype, a breed of experimental women who will reverse the human extinction dilemma beset of a world more than one-hundred-million light years away. Amy herself was born sterile as a measure of responsibility for her own world which is headed toward over-population. Her built-in psychic awareness is getting stronger, but she was born for pleasure—born to propagate—and the mystery of her dreams, diagnosis and future seems to be converging.
