About the Book
After a long, frigid winter, the lures in Tackle Box Troubles are enjoying another summer of catching fish in the Northwoods. The large lake, with its small bays and many islands, is home to bass, bluegill, crappie, perch, northern pike, musky, and walleye.
Shadowed by tall pine trees growing along the shore, Francis Frog, a green and dark-spotted lure, fishes among flowering lily pads. Francis knows this is an ideal spot to catch bass on warm, sunny days.
Walter Walker, a topwater lure, zigs and zags on the lake’s surface. The cool water, near an island, is a perfect place to hook a large musky.
The fisherman casts Big Jake, Brittney Beaver, Bucky Bucktail, Musky Ike, Sammy Spinner, Suki Suick, and other lures in every direction. Will the fishing lures be able to stay out of trouble? There’s no predicting what may go wrong while fishing!
