About the Book

All dogs bark. Don’t they? Wolfgang’s doggie friends, Milo, Maggie, Queenie and Charlie can certainly bark. They can woof, woof! But sadly, Wolfgang can’t woof. Oh dear! Wolfgang has a problem, and he is desperate to solve it. Wolfgang decides to ask help from his doggie friends in the hope they can teach him to woof like they do. Milo, Maggie, Queenie and Charlie each in turn demonstrate to Wolfgang their unique way to bark. Wolfgang tries his hardest to bark like his friends, but with each attempt he fails - dismally. Wolfgang feels very disgruntled and sad. One night Wolfgang is woken with a start and comes face to face with a burglar in the house. What can Wolfgang do to alert the household and scare the burglar away. Wolfgang must be brave and bark loudly. Can Wolfgang learn from his doggie friends and find his own unique bark? Will an act of bravery help solve Wolfgang’s problem?
