About the Book

The Story is set early in the13th Century AD mostly at the time of the Seljuk Turks in Anatolia. This narrative follows several years in the life of a young Scribe, including a long journey across Anatolia.

About the Author

Writing has become a serious interest since my retirement from paid employment. That employment included private hospital administration and secretarial positions. One interesting place of employment was on an Aborigine Mission, then called Balgo, in the Western Australian Desert, where I was secretary to the Community Advisor.
