Samantha Rogers never asked for the shadows that shaped her childhood. About the Author

Samantha Rogers King was born in Newark, New Jersey and relocated at a young age to Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. There, she was lovingly raised by her grandmother until the age of 12, an experience that shaped her strength compassion and deep understanding of resilience.
