About the Book

Mildred Oberman is doing quite well - despite what her daughter Lucy might report. Her best days are spent with her granddaughter, Christina. But this relationship changes as her grandmother ages. Behavior which Christina assumed was just a part of the usually funny stuff - her grandmother’s humor, the back-and-forth banter, is becoming more complex. Christina thinks she can deal with it all; Lucy is not so sure. This story is about these women and their earnest attempts to guard the dignity of an aging woman whose wit may have veered into uncharted territory.
