About the Book

Addiction is real. Addiction comes in many different facets. Addiction does not respect age, gender, color, religion, titles, degrees, race, and ethnicity. Addiction disguises itself to look desirable. However, once it sinks into the lives of people it begins to grip tightly and won’t allow one to escape. Addiction robs people. Time is wasted and lost. Relationships are broken. Homes are destroyed. People die. Addiction is real. I found myself struggling. Addiction enslaved me. Addiction kept me captive. After feeling so tired of living in the cycle of addiction I surrendered my will to Jesus Christ. Through the Word of God, I found my freedom. From the Eyes of a Recovering Addict is the 12-step journey of my recovery. I share my process as the Spirit of God took me through the teachings of the Apostle Paul. I like to call it “a road towards reality, inner healing, restoration and transformation.” From the Eyes of a Recovering Addict is a bible-based guide towards a hopeful journey where the addict can be set free.
