About the Book
Stories From Monette, AR is a collection of fictitious stories dealing with small town life in America in the 1950’s. The happiness, the tragedy, the love, the religious hypocrisy of the residents and yet their acceptance of their brethren make you come away loving the characters – all hardworking, honest people.
About the Author
Rod is a multifaceted writer having published a novel (A Quiet Grief), a humor book (T’was the Night Before Hannukah), and a series of Vietnam poems. His work has been accepted at, and he has attended, the Bread Loaf School Writers Conference in Vermont and Middlebury College both in the USA and in Italy. He is also an attorney at law and a bronze sculptor with works in private collections and one museum.
