About the Book
Our hero, pianist Max Burton, with a talent for time travel as well as music, decides to visit the distant future to see what’s to become of humankind. He goes with a list of questions but inadvertently gets mixed up in intrigue; a dangerous plot to save the earth from imminent destruction. Along the way he finds his friends and lovers from the past and present and learns that the world of the future is a world turned upside down. Future Tense is the third book in the series Lucid Dreaming Experiments.
About the Author
Martin P Mayer earned two doctorates, in counseling psychology and school administration, from The University of San Francisco in addition to two grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Mayer’s fiction contains humor mixed with historical research, social conscience, psychological and philosophical insight. He currently resides in Montgomery, Alabama.
