About the Book

Eve, a student under the strict rule of her wealthy father will meet the love of her life: Her heart was pounding and she found it very difficult to breathe. She couldn’t look away from the male and took in his broad shoulders, slim waist and long legs. He was a few feet taller than her and when she had looked into his brilliant green eyes she’d been forced to tilt her face up. Christopher, a doctor without any living relatives did not know he was looking for his missing half until he found her: He couldn’t take his eyes off her long mane. It appeared to be jet black in the darkening night. He had an urge to reach out and run his hands through it. When his gaze rested on her face, he sucked in his breath. Her round eyes were the colour of sapphires and her face and hands were very white. Her lush red lips looked berry stained. Are they right for each other? Not everyone will think so: Eve’s father took a step closer to Christopher and spoke menacingly. ‘Let it be known, you will never marry my daughter and nor will you ever go near her again.’ This is a story of love and anticipation, trial and tribulation.

About the Author

Maha Payne is a romance author and her first book Breath of Life: Christopher & Eve’s Story is published by Xlibris. Maha grew up dreaming about Mr Perfect and even though she met and married Mr Almost Perfect, it is no surprise that she ended up writing about Christopher & Eve. Maha lives on the outskirts of Sydney with her husband, two dogs and cat and is currently working on her latest project, a sequel to Breath of Life. It will be published in early 2011.
