About the Book

This is a true story of cockatoos who try to eat a log house who are defeated by a small dog who defends the home from intruders with the help of a neighbor's dog. Barking is loud and the party is observed by a small family of possums and kookaburras.

About the Author

Marguerite Turnley is a writer and artist who loves to create stories for children and adults. She draws pictures for the stories and paints landscapes. She lives in country Victoria on a six acres block miles from town where she has dogs and cats, kookaburras and koalas in the trees. Every one of them is free as we all should be. Her best help in surviving out in the wild is her husband Trevor who loves the bush and animals in the same way. She had novels and short stories published and she writes poetry. She even finds time to cook and invent recipes.
