About the Book

My Mother was an Amazing Woman having been widowed four times, she always got on with her life no matter what she faced, and lived each day as it came.

She often felt she had failed as a Mother During the war having to send us as children on an Evacation. In my eyes she never failed after all there is no such thing as a perfect Mother!

Mum ws quite a Positive Woman and did the best she could in every aspect of her life.

She always said, "Life is for Living" and she did that everyday of her life.

About the Author

As a child Sylvia loved writing stories and Poems. Sylvia wrote a book from her Mother’s notes that she had written when she was 75. She was thrilled to read the finished book and it was something that she could pass onto her grandchildren and great grandchildren. This encouraged Sylvia to write a book of her own, it is always good to start at the beginning of life.
