About the Author

Brigadier General Hassan Mamman Lai, popularly known among colleagues as All the Way was a Directing Staff at the Nigerian Defence College, Nigeria before his secondment to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission in Abuja, Nigeria as Chief of Staff of ECOWAS Standby Force. He holds a M a s t e r s d e g r e e i n Defence and Strategic Studies. He is the author ofThe Infantryman in the Regiment, Reflections of a Soldier among others.
