About the Book

This is the story of Sipho and what happened in four days trying to kill himself before he turned 41. It includes poems written in hospital and friends stories I met in hospital. In the US they experience 11,000 self-inflicted deaths per year and the UK: 7,000. Anxiety disorders affect more than 17 million Americans, with 19 million suffering from depressive illnesses. Chronic pain affects more that 40 million Americans. As a result of these disorders billions of dollars each year are lost.

About the Author

Born in Daveyton in the East of Johannesburg in South Africa. I was sent to finish my schooling in Kwazulu Natal during the school riots of 1984. I’m married to Mimi Masala and have three boys Bohlale, Sihle and Thandolwenkosi . I adore good & lovely food and a good book. I dabbled with the beverage market by starting these beverage brands Homebru Coffee and Blackjuice Beverages until illness struck. I started writing poems influenced by the poor surrounding and apartheid system when I was ten but lost it all.
