About the Author

I always did aspire to write poetry even as a child, raised in a working class environment in Bedale Yorkshire but in the struggle for survival it was a hidden dream. Then marriage and raising children left little time. Now I can indulge my dream and hope to leave a little of myself to my Grandchildren. I hope my friends find a little pleasure in the few short poems in this book. For better or worse I have indulged my dream.
