About the Book
I n a powerful and peaceful Kingdom of Otukpicho, was a selfish and wicked King Oche. He had only one child, Princess Alache, a very beautiful young lady. The king refused to give out the princess in marriage. On persuasion from the queen, Alache’s mother, the king accepted on the condition that the man to marry his daughter should be very brave, strong and bold. The man has to drink a bowl of hot pap. Several strong, brave and bold men came up one after the other to marry the princess, but none could drink the hot pap. Finally, Goni comes not with strength but wisdom, drank the hot pap and married the princess.

Odeh Akatu is from Nigeria, he has presented children’s stories on television, radio and in several schools. He has also been involved in several films and adverts. He is married to Debra and they have two children Sophia and Nahbi.
