About the Book

In this author’s opinion, the writing of a novel has to be one of the most tedious, lonely endeavors that any person can attempt, and to accomplish this task is by anyone’s standards an achievement. Whether it is a great achievement remains to be seen, but at that final moment when the last few words are typed, “greatness” doesn’t seem to matter. At that point it is more a sigh of relief combined with a moment of disbelief.

About the Author

James Thomas is a pseudonym for someone that has been described by those that know him well as a, “Colorful character.” He is a Pilot, Poet, Pirate, Aerospace / Military Electronics Specialist, and as of late, an Author. An accomplished professional aviator, he has been employed in air transport, charter, flight instruction, corporate aviation, and as an aviation operative for an unnamed government agency. His aviation experiences have taken him to a multitude of destinations, with quite a few hours flown in the Bahamas and Caribbean. His aerospace accomplishments with industry giants such as Lockheed Martin and Hughes Missiles have been meritoriously noted in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World. His passions include camping, back-country exploring by canoe, flying to Key West for lunch, scuba diving, and motorcycle riding. However, he can most frequently be found enjoying his passion for good friends and fun while having a few cold ones, holding court at a local neighborhood watering-hole located beachside in beautiful Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. James Thomas is a thirty-five year resident of Ft. Lauderdale. His profession is the chief pilot for a large corporation based in Ft. Lauderdale, but his latest passionate endeavor has been the publication of the second of three novels.
