Los insectos deciden planear una fiesta para la lluvia. Pero sus desacuerdos sobre la lista de invitados originan un grave conflicto entre ellos. Cuando llega la señora Lluvia, les hace ver con generosidad y alegría, que todos los animales del bosque son invitados de honor para la gran fiesta. The insects decide to plan a party for Lady Rain, but their disagreements about the guest list create a serious conflict. When Lady Rain arrives, her generosity and cheerfulness make the insects realize that all the animals in the forest are honored guests in the grand celebration.

About the Author

Edith Torres Ollerich, profesora de español, escritora e ilustradora colombiana; vive en Colorado con su esposo Jim y su hijastra Krystal. Posee un tesoro en Colombia: su extensa e inspiradora familia latina, ex estudiantes y muchos amigos. “La lista de invitados para la fiesta de la señora Lluvia” ganó el tercer premio 2003 en el concurso internacional de cuentos infantiles de AMEI, en Madrid. Tommy Oviatt, el traductor, vive también en Colorado, es maestro de español, músico y gran amigo de la autora. The author, Edith Ollerich, and the translator, Tommy Oviatt, are Spanish teachers. They live in Colorado.
