About the Author

Being a musical theatre pit musician on Broadway is a stabilized, mostly comfortable form of employment. An itinerant jazz performer, to the contrary, spends much of his time wandering hither and yon practicing his art. Along the way, if he likes to write, he is frequently involved with a variety of individuals and situations which flesh out the subject matters of this collection of short stories: restaurants, convenience stores, classrooms, night clubs, a piano player, several academics, a performer on the saxophone, a rocker, plus, as the commercials declaim, "and so much more."
