About the Book

This book contains a collection of poems written in storybook form. The Eagle is the main character featured in this book. The author has captured the character of the Eagle. The next story is about a little dog named Max. Max grew up with us as children. He was a smart little dog and he was like a family member. Max’s life ended in a tragedy. The Legend of the Four Star Ranch tells one of many tales that was told to family members. It was said that many people were afraid to go to the ranch after dark because they had heard about some dreadful things happening to other people. Most of these stories were probably fabricated tales, but the stories were interesting. Prairie Bell was a beautiful rock school. It was probably built in the late thirties. This school was in the country, and was named after two community churches. Nature at Dusk, Nature at Work, and Sunset, captures some of nature’s wonders.
