About the Author

Dr. Robinson is the original renaissance man. He was born during World War I, served in World War II and survived all the changes in life style and technology during the last 85 years. During that time he has been an accomplished horseman, “rag sailor”, motor cyclist, a pilot for 25 years, water color artist, graduate gemologist and diamond appraiser, family practitioner, general surgeon, radiation oncologist, and has diplomas in radiology, as well as certificates in ultra sound, nuclear medicine and other imaging modalities. In his present specialty of bariatric medicine, he has been especially successful because he instructs and inspires his patients to follow the required changes in their lifestyle and physical activity. These changes become habitual putting them on a course which makes them healthier for the rest of their life. Dr. Robinson is a natural teacher, cheerleader, and medical diagnostician. He communicates well so that his patients understand what, how, and why they need to do the things which make them successful. The keys to success have been imbedded in the text of this book, but should be easy to read and entertaining as well as an effective guide. Dr. Robinson lives in Lancaster, CA, is married, and has five sons, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
