About the Book

When my wife made a lighthearted remark that I had led a dull boring life she probably never had any idea that she would inspire me to write about my life. This is that story. It begins with my earliest memories in a small English village and traces the youthful adventures I had with my twin brother Stephen and to a lesser extent Rodney. Later as I moved to Cardiff, Wales the chronicle of mischief and amusing escapades unfolds even further as I grow into a young man. As each decade passes the story traces how I move from one way of life to another. See how every decade throws up a different set of problems, heartaches and unforgettable moments. Read how I overcome the many obstacles that life throws at me until I eventually found the happiness that I had lost.

About the Author

Born in Manchester, England, Philip moved to the countryside of Dorset when he was two years old. As he grew into a young man he left behind the innocent lifestyle and moved to the big city. Later he settled down in the sort of neighborhood he loved, the countryside of South Wales. The road to his adulthood has been paved with fun, joy, a little danger and a lot of sadness. He finally found happiness in the peaceful city of East Dubuque; Illinois U.S.A. where he now lives with his wife, Rose and his adopted daughter, Ashley and dog Mica.
