About the Book
The Santa Barbara Priority. The main characters from Priority One get together again to face a terrorist threat on American soil. Intercepted phone chatter in northwest Africa leads Kendall Smith and Jason Perez to Santa Barbara, where they infiltrate a world relief agency. The nature of the potential attack is unclear, and just when it seems as if it will never materialize, the situation blows up in Kendall’s face. The Santa Barbara Priority is the second in a series of international suspense novels that pit two young Americans with very different political leanings against the terrorist threat that has changed all our lives since 9/11. The characters bring their strong perspectives to the question of how much violence is required to deter violence. The only sure thing is that inaction will lead to disaster.
