About the Book

Malin Dollinger presents his life transitions in the form of poetry and prose, reflecting the universality of human experience. We are all the same in our thoughts and aspirations, our joys and fears, and our victories and defeats. His topics include growing up, marriage, family & children, friendship, patriotism and politics, music and the arts, religion, being a physician, and finally, his thoughts about the ending of the life experience. Here is his understanding of human struggles and joys. His life experiences are also your own.

About the Author

The author (born 1935) remembers Roosevelt leading our country out of the great depression and to victory in WWII. He was born at Stanford Hospital, grew up in San Francisco, and it was appropriate for him to attend Stanford University. He received his M.D. at Yale and trained as a cancer specialist. He is a published poet, and was the Poet-at-Large for the Los Angeles County Medical Association, and Associate Editor of Mediphors, a medical poetry journal. His many interests include music and amateur radio. His dealing with late-life paralysis emphasized his respect for Roosevelt, and convinced him to tell you about the meaning of life.
