About the Book
It’s said a song is a poem set to music. As a child, I would sit around the house or at a get together somewhere with family and friends, and listen to people conversate with each other. Many times, a poetic intuition arose in me, compelling me to jot down the songs that came to mind while hearing them talk. It seemed as though messages told me beautiful music was being given with an inner voice saying try to compose it. Years later, in adulthood, after obtaining a degree from college while in Washington, D.C.., I registered a copyright for a book of poems entitled Redeliverance in 1982. With another interlude, final completion of this book didn’t materialize until after the Bicentennial and into the 21st Century. Even though things were late, many say better late then never, so here you are.
