Lola and Sir Germs-a-Lot

About the Book

This book was written to help kids and parents understand the importance of taking care of your teeth. In the book, Lola, a seven-year old girl finds out the hard way that the combination of too many sweets and not brushing your teeth can lead to the appearance of Sir Germs-a-lot and cavities. Fortunately for Lola, she had a regularly scheduled checkup with her dentist, Dr. Marty McBoo who helps chase the villain away and encourage Lola to start brushing her teeth on a daily basis again.

About the Author

As a little girl in Tbilisi, Georgia, Inna Horvath became interested in becoming a dentist. She attended Tver Dental Academy in Russia where she received her degree in dentistry. After moving to the United States she has continued her passion for helping others by working as a dental assistant and dental hygienist in the Denver Metro area. Inna has participated in COMOM for the past two years to improve oral health for free. She has been an active member of the American Dental Hygienist Association and frequent speaker at local schools promoting the values of dental hygiene. It was those presentations that led to the writing of this book about little Lola, Sir Germs-a-Lot, and Dr. Marty McBoo. Inna is active in her local community and lives in the Denver Metro area with her husband and two daughters.
