About the Book
He entered the city of Nod just before evening. It was a sleepy, but pleasant town full of honest, hard-working, good people.
Even though he walked among the shadows, people still greeted him cheerfully as they headed to their homes. Hesitating for a while, he entered a dark alley where he planned to spend the night. Then he detected an odor, a smell he had become sensitive to over the course of his journey; but tonight as he sat there tired and hungry, he realized that the pungent odor was coming from him.
He began to think about his parents, and the thought of never seeing them again. He thought of their pain. Looking up to heaven he said, “I’ll never hear your voice again will I?” he repeated to himself, as he faded off to sleep.
He was up before the crack of dawn; it was still dark as he wandered through the streets of Nod in search of food, clean clothes and a place to bathe. First, he stole some fruits and vegetables from a nearby garden; then he removed some clothes from someone’s backyard. Finally, he took a bath in the public water supply. Forcing down another couple of mouthfuls of food, he took to the streets. The contamination of Nod had begun.

Livingstone Scott is an author, an accomplished songwriter and gospel singer. At an early age he was inspired to spread the word of God throughout the world. He says that he is internationally unknown. Livingstone is a graduate of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Ministerial Education. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Management. He has ministered in churches throughout the State of Florida and has appeared on TBN. He sang and toured with the well known Bahamian Group the Chambers Singers. Livingstone is a craftsman, he’s especially adept at renovating classic structures, however, nothing compares to writing and composing music. Livingstone’s heartfelt and true commitment to the Lord shines through his soulful and mesmerizing voice. He expresses his refreshing and realistic points of view through his writing.
