Biggy and Smally the Sparrow Sisters

About the Book

This story is about a family of Sparrow birds. After building their nest their first born is a daughter, the next is also a daughter. Since the first sparrow is larger she is called "Biggy" and her younger sister is called "Smally". When the mother and father sparrows are leaving to fly South for the Winter, "Smally" can't fly that well. "Biggy" doesn't want to leave her sister and stays to help her to fly. After some practice "Biggy" and "Smally" fly South to meet their parents. An interesting story of siblings striving for a goal.

About the Author

Jerry Czajkowski has published three children’s books with Xlibris. “Biggy and Smalley The Sparrow Sisters”, “Why They Crossed the Road” a picture book of why different animals crossed the road, and “The Toads Go To The Beach”. This current picture book chronicles the 800 mile trip on the Amazon River. Pictures and text of visits to native jungle tribes, treks through the rainforest and jungles in the Peruvian Amazon region.. With a brief look at life in Leticia, Columbia and Tabatinga, Brazil, Jerry currently resides with his wife in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
