About the Book
When Jack McFarland was ten, he saw something of God. He forgot the vision, fell into the shadow, felt as if he were dead, and covered up his death with his life. He got married, became an Episcopal priest, advanced his career, and went to Honduras. There he met the darkness face to face and nearly lost everything--his wife, the boys, Alicia, the professor, Sonia, the village he had come to love, even his sanity. Much was lost, yet much was gained, and in the end, he found the "love that moves the sun and other stars."
