About the Author

Anne Easton Rodgers Witherspoon is a fourth generation Californian. Anne was educated at girls’ schools in San Francisco, in Farmington, Connecticut and at Bryn Mawr College. She graduated from Stanford University. Anne and Jackson Witherspoon raised three children in Palo Alto, California where they lived for thirty years. Anne has served on many community boards, bred and shown championship Corgis, renovated and landscaped 14 houses, was an associate director of development at Stanford University, served 10 years in elected office and one year in the national headquarters of Bob Dole’s presidential campaign. The widowed grandmother of three, Anne now divides her time between the East and West Coasts.
