The author is a plastic surgeon by trade, therefore she is well informed about the stories and characters she creates, as an active insider. Although the book is pure fiction, it represents actual experiences of some of the patients she has encountered. An avid people person; the author enjoys communicating with new friends and surroundings in Florida where she moved to, recently. She enjoys the sea and outdoors life after being a busy professional for many long years. Her activities include travel and reconnecting with her family, something busy people forget when they are immersed in their work.
