About the Book

“Touching My Heart” is a collection of poems inspired by special feelings And emotions I’ve felt through the years. These words express the joys, sorrows and love I have experienced. I saved them not knowing I would share them with others, the many moments and blessing, which the Lord has inspired from within my heart to write, each poem holds, memories of my this my journey of life.

About the Author

I was born of immigrant parents in 1930. My family though was poor in material things, was rich in faith, caring, tenderness, and love. My father was a veteran of World War 1, and so proud to be an American. My mother had no education, she could not read or write, but was a person of deep faith and her faith, I know, impacted deeply on my life. I was married at twenty and now celebrating fifty-six years of a great marriage, we are blessed with three sons and nine grandchildren. My poems, written and collected over the years are the legacy I wish to leave to my children and grandchildren, that they may share that part of my inner life. I also hope, with the printing of this book, that those who have visions and dreams of the impossible, will be inspired and encouraged, with God’s help, to accomplish their labor of love, and see as I have the purpose of their life fulfilled.
