About the Book

America: An Immigrant's Perspective addresses some of the current issues and concerns that now affect our country. The intent is to highlight some of the many pressing topics of discussion within the multilayered social, economic, political, and military realms of our society. Ranging from local and national outlooks to the wider international and geopolitical perspectives, chapters herein present highly diverse readings that reflect the current state of global politics . . . developments so deserving of wider discourse. Though hugely debatable, listed topics gracefully introduce and realistically present to readers our many current societal challenges; encounters that could dramatically affect our collective well being and similarly compromise a long familiar and expectant way of life.

About the Author

Born on the Caribbean island of Grenada, Michael A. Cadore immigrated to the United States in the mid-1990s and initially resided in Brooklyn, New York. It was not long thereafter, for reasons of independence, adventure, and—ultimately-personal development, that his journey with and in the much-feared yet highly respected United States Navy began. Upon honorable separation from military service, he continued the pursuit of higher education and later graduated with a first degree in business; a combination of the above, making for his present graduate enrolment at a local university. Post-military employment has been in the areas of administration, finance and accounting.
