About the Book
EXCERPT: The struggles of women to liberate themselves from the shackles of patriarchy, oppression, discrimination, marginalization and subjugation within the confines of the church have been long and hard. The church has proven to be a formidable force behind whose shroud, the walls of partition between man and woman dangle, and the venom of segregation lurks. It has failed to serve as a bastion of liberation where male and female leaders can labor together in harmony for the propagation of the Gospel of Christ, and for the exercising of spiritual gifts. (The time has come for the cloak under which male domination and supremacy have been sheltered to be removed. There is need for a total overhaul of the structural component of the church to successfully co-exist and blend with its charismatic component, to ensure a bright future for women leaders in ministry).
