About the Book

Dogs are magical creatures. As a species they are as close to human as an animal can be. They display emotions and feelings just like you and me. I believe they have the power to heal. Photon is my puppy and he keeps me happy, healthy, laughing and smiling every day. He has been the inspiration for this book and others that will follow in a series called PHOTON THE HAPPINESS PUPPY. Tibetan Terriers are really miniature sheepdogs. They are like “little people” who are known to bring good luck. As a breed they are affectionate, happy, intelligent, active, agile, lively, clever, loyal and charming.

About the Author

I am so pleased to be publishing a children's book series after writing my memoirs TO BEGIN AGAIN. I brought my new puppy, Photon, home to Colorado Springs when he was eight weeks old. He truly inspired me to become more in touch with all wildlife and nature. He is very unique and meaningful to me because his breed, Tibetan Terrier, originated in the Himalayas of China with the monks of Tibet. Photon is a magical creature to me and my family. I fell in love with the Chinese culture during a five week adventure in Beijing and Kashgar with a special friend.
