The Moon Follows You Home is a whimsical look at a small child´s perception of the moon. Calling on references from nursery rhymes, legends and reality, the story reassures the child that despite being a busy fellow, the moon has time for him. No matter where he goes, the moon will shine him safely home. Lovely and evocative illustrations by talented artist Bridgid Stier bring the story to life, making this a perfect bedtime tale for babies and toddlers.

About the Author

LINDA MOSES LANGER From a decade of experience as a library storyteller, I have learned that babies and toddlers love the moon. For many of them, “moon” is one of their first words. Although I made my living as a writer for twenty years, penning everything from corporate advertising to poems, song lyrics and even the occasional liturgical service, I am proudest of this little book. It is so special because of my collaboration with its illustrator, Bridgid Stier. Her mother was my best friend, and we lost her two years ago. She would have been so proud of us. BRIDGID STIER I began drawing at a young age. With early encouragement from my parents and with classes in drawing and ceramics, I discovered my love of being an artist. Nearly twenty years ago, I earned a BFA from the University of Kansas. Since then I have been working as an illustrator and graphic designer for a variety of companies, government services and education. Today I am grateful to Linda Langer for the opportunity to illustrate this children’s book, a lifelong dream fulfilled, and to publish a book together, something we’ve wanted to do for a long time.
