My Life in Historical Sense

About the Book

This Poetry collection is from a larger amount of Poetry written over a period of 35 years. A number of the Poems as in the B-Section is inspired by keen insight into human history. Others Poems are celebrating human life in a beautiful and powerful Universe, but also describing the battle of life and death in nature. Others are particularly describing the interplay with humans in rough scenarios. Some of the history-inspired Poetry may fall into the Epic category, while others are more descriptive and communicating powerful scenes in all the categories of; Life and Nature; Love & Dreams; The nature and the Universe and Historical Constellations. A substantial part of this collection is of course triggered by inspiration only and leaves the reader to interpret and create his or hers pictures; for thus to fall into the definition of Art; as they will inevitably contribute by their own creation; in a similar way as painter leaves it up to the viewer to fulfill a smaller or larger part of the creation. My pen-name Jack Town is again being brought in as the name represents so many facets of writing that it could not be fully attributed to just one person. “A lot of human experiences and reactions can only become a mental asset if the one facing them sits down and work it out in poesy or prose.” Tgjr

About the Author

Trygve Gangnaes Jr. was born in Norway, and has lived the last 30 years in the USA. In the seventies and early eighties he was volunteering in Civil and Human Rights work. He did extensive research and got published a large number of articles, press releases, newspaper and magazine articles. During that time he worked with politicians and other high officials and delivered presentations regarding the findings. After a number of years dedicated to this work he was accepted into the largest conservative daily newspaper as an expert on human rights. Part of his research into WWII history and Nazi war crimes was confirmed by the famous Austrian Lawyer Simon Wiesenthal, whom he met personally. This research into hidden corners of mostly local history sparked an interest into other areas of History from where a lot of this poetry collection is centered. Poetry became a refuge that balanced this from time to time difficult endeavor. Writing Poetry in general opened up other typical area dedicated to Poetry in general. He is well wondered in several professional fields with two college degrees in Engineering and one (MBA) in Business Economics and Accounting. He speaks several languages and his writings spans a large genre; Short Stories including Children stories, writings from his professional fields and Historical Fiction of which a trilogy from the Viking Era in the chute.
