About the Book

In the follow-up book, IVORY FAN MYSTERY, Aunt Sarah has moved to an apartment. The Victorian house (formerly Aunt. Sarah’s) is to be made into a museum.

Leslie Scott has been asked to stay with her aunt to help her in the Library.

Again there is a mystery connected with the Victorian house. And again, Leslie sets out to help solve it.

She and her friends succeed in uncovering the answer which turns out to be a shocking surprise.

About the Author

DOROTHY A. HEIBEL studied writing through the Institute of Children’s Literature, Redding, CT. Her inspiration for writing comes from her ten grandchildren plus a large stripped cat named “Tigger”. She had developed an interest in the quaint style of the Victorian house. This led her to wonder about the characters who might live inside. MYSTERY OF THE FORBIDDEN ATTIC was the result. A granddaughter commented that the mystery was not completely solved in the end of the story. She advised her grandmother to write another book. Thus THE IVORY FAN MYSTERY was born.
