About the Author

Vanessa Jefferson, author, speaker and teacher has spent the last 27 years working in the social services field and has a passion for helping those in need. She has seen up close and personal some of the pain, frustration and complex problems facing our society and has come to understand that outside of Christ all our human efforts to handle life’s ills are futile. Therefore it has become her life passion to help equip others with tools to help them to develop and grow in their relationship with God. She is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from the University of North Florida with her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She continues to work and serve in the community. She has been married to her husband Eugene Jefferson for 23 years and they have three children, Eugene Jr., Brandon and Janae.
