About the Book
The cats of the British succession unfolds the personal stories of Fluffy Intchkape and Snoogels Intchkape, two of the most exceptional felines in the annals of modern feline history. Their uncle is the most distinguished British feline of his generation - Sir Hilary Fluffman of Wimbelgump Intchkape, Somerset, who alike Fluffy is A Bernese Hoogelvagler , a most sweet but wolfish brand of felines. Snoogels is a Snooglish Intchkape , which accounts for his milder and more temperate nature. From the holy land where both these felines arrived as orphans, back to their family in England all is wild adventure for both these felines.
About the Author
I was born in Israel to a family of mixed British and oriental descent. Having been born in a village founded by immigrants from Great Britain and South Africa , and having been brought up under strong British Influence with Nursery Rhymes and a nostalgia for 'Good old England" . The British idiom which I grew upon was one which reached higher tones through places such as Italy, Greece and the orient. As though in the dreams childhood, cavaliers from the court of Charles the first ambled amidst the fragrance of orange blossom in our orchard to the sound of Laureta's aria from Puccini's Giany Schichi. And there was that other more wintry dreamy atmosphere - that which seemed to emanate directly from the world of constable's cornfields and the masters of the nursery rhymes tinged by exotic touches- to these this work is largely indebted.
