About the Author

Teresa is the mother of three teenage girls between the ages of fourteen and seventeen. Having daughters is what brought Teresa to research girls and self-esteem for the past seventeen years. She sees through them how young girls think, act, and feel. Married at eighteen, Teresa turned her life around. Raising three children, working, and dealing with an abusive husband, she gained enough strength and courage to leave her abusive relationship. She attended a two-year college studying law and teaches creative writing to home-school students. Today, Teresa wants to share the strength and courage she has gained by helping others.
