About the Author
Dr. Stephen Betchen completed his doctorate (D.S.W.) at the University of Pennsylvania specializing in marriage and family therapy. He subsequently served as a Senior Clinical Therapist and Supervisor at the Marriage Council of Philadelphia, and as a Clinical Associate in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, an Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Certified Supervisor of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists. He has authored several academic articles and currently maintains a private practice in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
