About the Book

A selfish and bigoted stockbroker unleashes an ancient horror of hatred while cursing his computer trading dumps...In the northern mountains of Lycoming County, an ancient but human-made monstrosity stalks a diverse group of campers, and a pharmaceutical giant creates and unleashes an horrific evil upon its employees. What are these representative of?

A collection of short horror tales to chill your bones and make you think about social issues and ethics in some contents. The imagination of Joseph E. Gill stretches across the wide spectrum of not only Pennsylvania but also human diversity, which these tales encompass. Some are tales which could make the late H.P. Lovecraft scream and others, reminiscent of Poe and Bradbury influence, make today's reader and thinker ask: "are we heading to our own Atlantis?"

Each story is a treasure to be read again and again as Gill takes you to areas of the modern world and mixes them with a clash of the prehistoric, ancient and medieval.

Are you willing to believe and think about things which are only told in grotesque fairy tales? Come inside and spend a weekend at...Gillgrange Abbey!
