About the Book

THERE’S FIRE INSIDE is a love story shared by all women and men who have followed the well worn path of mystics, poets, shamans and saints who desire to know and touch the Divine. It is a story of transformation, healing, courage, compassion, freedom and a deepening hunger for God. There’s a rhythm to his story as Vince shares reflections from trips to Haiti, from silent retreats and from everyday encounters with the Divine. Vince shares his vulnerability, sorrows, tears and the joy he has encountered on his journey to an awakening of the Kingdom of which Jesus spoke so much.

About the Author

Vince Gallagher and his wife Cathy, a middle school teacher, live in Stratford, New Jersey and have raised three children. Vince has lived and worked in many Latin American countries with the United Nations, the Organization of American States, the Peace Corps and other organizations. He spent thirty years in the field of worker injury and disease prevention. He has lectured in several universities, many high schools, and teaches Structural Injustice in the Global Economy at the Romero Center in Camden, New Jersey where high school and college students come to serve along with the poor.
