About the Book
anOTHER SAT is a book artist rendition of the real SAT using the concept of OTHER, OTHERNESS, and OTHER things. The author encountered the concept of OTHER for the first time taking the SAT while filling out the information on ethnicity on the test forms. She is an American of multi- ethnic heritage: NativeAmerican, German, Asian, and African who always had thought of herself as just another American teenager that had to take the SAT test for college. But the word Other bothered her because it dehumanized who she was. What was OTHER? Her life experience was that of being the most loved teenager by parents, grandparents, and relatives of all different races. With the release of the newest version of the SAT, the author decided it was a fitting time to release anOTHER version in the format of an Artist Book Test of the SAT designed in the same format of the SAT with fitting questions related to OTHERNESS and OTHER THINGS, an answer sheet, sample test questions, an answer key with explanation so the reader can really practice for the SAT test with a sharpened number two pencil! And the reader may take this as an actual practice test. Not only am is the author a book artist, but an educational test maker and academic consultant for gifted education! Good luck!
